As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak escalates, the Government has now recommended social distancing in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing will reduce the social interaction between people in order to reduce the transmission of Coronavirus. Our priority at our Chamber events and delivering training will always be the health and safety of our Members, attendees and employees.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and for the safety of both Chamber employees and members of the public, the Chamber’s buildings (including Clickworks, The Chamber Hair & Beauty Training Academy, The Chamber Construction Training Centre and their Liverpool office at Merseyside Youth Association) are now closed to the public. There is a skeleton staff in place at our Head Office for emergencies, and most services are still available with staff continuing to work to support local businesses and people remotely.
We recommend Members keep themselves up to date with the Government’s latest advice, and NHS information on the virus and how to protect yourselves. Our Business Support team are available on 01744 742015 and can provide information.
